Precautions to be taken to make the 31st night a safe and a happy new year...

  1. Do not booze above the permitted limit 
  2. Do not indulge in drugs or any other sources of highness
  3. Remember it is the first day of the year
  4. Enjoy dancing ,greeting your loved ones 
  5. Make sure you are geared up to fight back the cold 
  6. Do not get sober too early as it is the first day of the year
  7. If you are drunk make sure you are not driving after 1am 
  8. There are multiple check posts for the road safety and woman safety
  9. Play safe
  10. Dont get too excited because there are many more years to come ahead
  11. Safety first
  12. cooperate with the police
  13. Dont end up with bad memories on a new year
  14. Dont drive too far from the city as there are traffic restrictions from 11 am to 5 pm on the outer ring road 
  15. Dont indulge in mischevious acts cameras are watching you and special teams in civil dress are ready to punish the nonsense creators
  16. If you find any object or man suspicious please do report to the nearest police station 
  17. Avoid crowded places and malls where there is less chance of escape                                                            
  18.  The Cyberabad Police have issued a long list of Do's and Dont's for the organisers of New Year parties in star hotels, pubs, resorts and farm houses in its limits.
  19. According to Cyberabad Commissioner C V Anand, there are 25 Star Hotels, 3 Pubs, 22 Resorts and 269 Farm-Houses in Cyberabad limits. Most star hotels fall in the limits of Madhapur Zone and most of the resorts and farm houses fall under Shamshabad and Balanagar Zones.
  20. The Commissioner said that in recent past there were allegations that star hotels and resorts were encouraging some illegal activities which include functioning beyond timing, hookah smoking, drugs consumption and organising rave parties in resorts.
  21. While wishing the people a happy New Year in advance, the Cyberabad Commissioner announced the rules and regulations for conducting New Year eve parties in an orderly and safe manner. He said measures that were taken last year had resulted in Zero Deaths in road accidents which are unprecedented.
  22. The Cyberabad Police permitted the New Year programmes between 8 PM and 1 PM only. It said admission to New Year parties should be only through invitation. No general public should be allowed.
  23. The maximum number of persons to be allowed should be declared by the organizers at the time of obtaining permission. Only couples of the registered members and their acquaintances are permitted. No single person (Male or Female) shall be allowed to enter in to the venue.
  24. The other norms restricting nudity, unauthorised consumption or supply of liquor, misbehaviour, special permission for DJs, limiting the loud speakers to 45 decibels, ban on carrying weapons and prohibiting bursting of crackers have also been imposed. The organisers have been asked to arrange CCTV, DFMDs and HHMDs at their premises and record real-time proceedings of the entire event.
  25. The Commissioner said that the Outer Ring Road will be closed from 11 PM to 5 AM for general public while bonafide passengers, going to or coming from RGI Airport would be allowed. All flyovers in Cyberabad Police limits, including the PVNR Express Way will be closed from 11 PM to 5 AM.

  40. Ø Prior permission of CP, Cyberabad, in writing, to be taken.
  41. Ø This notification is being issued well in advance so that adequate time is available to organise events as per the regulations and regulations.
  42. 1. The programme should be organized between 08:00 PM to 01:00 AM only.
  43. 2. Admission is only through invitation. No general public shall be allowed. The maximum number of persons to be allowed shall be declared by the organizers at the time of obtaining permission.

  45. 4. The posters and hoardings shall not be displayed at public places unless it is approved by the C.P Cyberabad.
  46. 5. No activities falling under the A.P. Gaming Act 1974 shall be organized.
  47. 6. No D.J. is permitted. The sound of the loud speakers shall not exceed 45 decibels. Any organizer requiring a DJ shall obtain a separate permission from the Local SHO/ACP.
  48. 7. Display of Nude Dances/acts/Films, Obscene Gestures etc. is strictly prohibited, and no professional dances can be organized.
  49. 8. No obscene posters, nude/semi-nude advertisements in daily News Papers or on hoardings or in any media etc., shall be used in the marketing of the event.
  50. 9. Liquor shall not be served without any valid License/permission by the competent authority i.e., Excise Department.
  51. 10. None of the spectators should be allowed to indulge in drunkenness or misbehavior. Any such instance should be promptly isolated and dealt with.
  52. 11. There should not be any dangerous display or exhibition, which would likely to cause danger or loss to the public.
  53. 12. Use of Fire Arms is strictly prohibited.
  54. 13. Instructions of the Divisional Fire Officer/Regional Fire Officers should be complied with.
  55. 14. The time schedule permitted shall be strictly adhered to.
  56. 15. All Invitees shall be informed of these restrictions well in advance.
  57. 16. Video record preferably (CD) of the minute to minute proceedings with built in time & date line from 08:00 PM to 01:00 AM till the dispersal of the audience shall be submitted to the Office of the C.P. Cyberabad for inspection & record within two days of the completion of each programme.
  58. 17. This permission is valid subject to permission from Fire Department & Electricity Department and shall be displayed at prominent places. Inform CT Department also.
  59. 18. The licensee is instructed to arrange CCTV, DFMDs and HHMDs at the premises.
  60. 19. Burning of crackers is strictly prohibited.
  61. 20. Smoke extinguishers and water should be arranged to prevent fire accidents.
  62. 21. Adequate arrangements for Toilets and other hygienic requirements shall be made.
  63. 22. Adequate lighting and seating arrangements shall be made.
  64. 23. The Public address system should be kept at a low volume and the speakers should be placed in a manner that people outside the venue are not affected. The organizers should use only box type speakers.
  65. 24. Even the valid arms license holders are not allowed with arms (Gun/Weapon/Rifle/Pistol/Revolver) inside the venue.
  66. 25. Elaborate & detailed arrangements for Crowd Control & Traffic Managements within the premises shall be done with a view to ensure safety & Security of all the audience and performers.
  67. 26. Local SHO/Inspector shall inspect the premises in advance for the fulfillment of the above conditions.
  68. 27. Licensee would be held responsible for any disorderliness, violence, injuries, loss of life etc., the licensee would be liable for prosecution in in case of any such incident.
  69. 28. It is the responsibility of the Management to ensure that the above Restrictions are strictly implemented and any violation of the above Restrictions would result in prosecution and / or cancellation of their license.
  70. 29. People are advised not to resort to drunken driving because it may pose serious threat to the life of individual’s in the vehicle and on the other road users. In this regard, massive vehicle checking will be carried out on the ORR and other highways for drunken driving and to impose speed limits. The event organizers at public places may advise the participants accordingly.
  71. 30. The Management should engage sufficient Private Security personnel for Security and Traffic Management to regulate the Traffic inside and outside the venue. No visitors/vehicle should be allowed inside without thorough checking.
  72. 31. Drunken driving after the event is prohibited. Checks for drunken driving would be organized by Police all along the Highways using breath Analysers.
  73. 32. The organizers should ensure parking of all vehicles inside the premises of the Venue only. They should not allow parking on the roads
  74. 33. by general public, failing which heavy penalties would be laid on the organizers/license.
  75. 34. - ORR will be closed from 11.00 PM to 5.00 AM for general public except
  76. Bonafide passengers/going to/coming from RGI Airport.
  77. - All flyovers will be closed from 11.00 PM to 5.00 AM.
  78. - PVR express way will be closed from 11.00 PM to 5.00 AM.
  79. 35. Any establishment violating the stipulation in an extreme manner will be proceeded against U/Sec.133 Cr.P.C which may include Sealing and Closure of the establishment.
